Where do your run your lessons?
Our lessons run from Broulee North Beach (Meeting at the Surf the Bay Van opposite 47 Coronation Drive Broulee).
Dalmeny Beach, just 5 minutes north of Narooma Centre (Meeting at the foot of the walkway bridge – only access point to Dalmeny Beach)
We also run lessons at Surf Beach and Denhams Beach in Batemans Bay on Demand.
What times do your lessons run?
Group lessons run at both 8.30am and 10.30am every day of summer school holiday periods (lessons run for approximately 2hrs.
Private lessons run any time of your choice, except busy periods when most are only available at either 7am or after 12.30pm daily (Private lessons run for approximately 1.5hrs.
Do lessons run rain, hail or shine?
Yes, the only time that lessons will be cancelled will be due to extreme weather conditions including lightning storms or dangerous swells. NOTE: clients will be contacted via phone prior to scheduled lesson times if there are any changes.
What are your opening hours?
We operate every day except Christmas day we are available for bookings/calls from 7.30am to 8pm daily.
What do we need to bring to lessons?
All you need to bring is a towel, swimmers, sunscreen and a water bottle. We supply all boards and wetsuits.
Can we get photos taken during our lessons?
Yes, we take waterproof cameras to all lessons and place photos on our Facebook page: Surf the Bay Surf School. NOTE- If you don’t want your photos posted on our Facebook, website or advertising please notify us via our waiver form otherwise feel free to take your pics from our Facebook page, just be sure to LIKE us and provide us with some feedback.
Where do you run your stand-up paddle boarding lessons/tours?
Stand-up paddle board lessons run in Broulee, Batemans Bay and Narooma. (Locations within these areas vary depending on each client’s needs and wind, tide and swell conditions).
